Jokowi Inaugurates Lorong 103 Koja Lokbin

Jakarta Governor Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo inaugurates Blok B Lorong 103 Built Landscape (Lokbin) in Koja, North Jakarta, Tuesday (9/23). In that occasion, he also spent time to visit a house in front of the lokbin which has not been acquisitioned yet.

Later if the house had been acquisitioned, this market will be perfect

Blok B Lorong 103 Koja Lokbin consists of 224 kiosks which all of them have been occupied. However, the existence of the house is disturbing the lokbin’s entrance way. Later when it is acquisitioned, the area will be transformed into parking lot.

“Later if the house had been acquisitioned, this market will be perfect. The land acquisition may finish next week. We acquisitioned the house so the (lokbin’s) parking lot would be wide. Thus, there would be more visitors coming visitors and they would feel safer and comfortable,” stated Jokowi.

Lokbin UPT Took Over 33 Kiosks in Blok B Lorong 103 Koja

Meanwhile, Head of Jakarta Lokbin Technical Implementation Unit (UPT), Orada Sinurat, told that although all kiosks have been occupied, only 60 percent of traders open their kiosks actively, while the rests tend to return selling on the street.

“We will warn them to fill in their kiosks. If they still stubborn, we will seize their kiosks,” he asserted.
